We planned this trip back last year but it never came around due to my laziness primarily ;-) This time however it was planned a day before so there was no way it could get cancelled. Called up my cousins Uma and Sayantan to find out which day this week would suit them for a picnic style outing - and turned out that the only day was tomorrow!! A quick check of the weather and some hurried route planning and we were all ready to go.
The plan was to leave early in the morn - pickup some food on the way and head up for Brockenhurst, then do a short hike on the Tall Trees Trail from Blackwater, after that go further north to Bolderwood Deer sanctuary and, if time permitted, finally go see the witch's huts in Burley.
